Traci, I wish she'd gain some. Then again she is still nursing. I hope when she's done she'll put on a few pounds. She scarfs down the FF kitten canned and eats very well the SD kitten dry (that "hard cr@p" LOL!)
Stinkre wouldn't eat the Authority kitten canned at all (which I get FREE from the rescue group) would only eat FF kitten canned. So today I mixed some Authority with KMR and water for the kittens to give a shot at real food. They weren't interested, but Nanceen ate it. Go figure.
I'll put some more in there this afternoon and spend a few hours and see if the kittens will eat it at all. The stinkers are really enjoying their freedom. Only the gray one ventures bacfck into the crate....what a little homebody he is!

Free or not, if they don't eat it, don't feed it. Cats know what they like.

I'd get them started on canned Iams kitten food, mixing the formula with it just a bit.

I don't know if they will or will not eat the Authority. That was their first time being offered it. They're just 4 weeks ande two days old now so they are just at that age to start weaning.
Nanceen wouldn't touch the stuff before. Out of my own pocket I have been faithfully feeding her the FF kitten canned.
Stinker just ate the Authority for the first time this morning. I'm hoping she will start eating that instead. The ingredients are cleaner...and well, it's free. I just hope the kittens will eat it!
