Thar she blows! Nanceen is having her Tummyknockers

She's just had two so far and the third should be here soon. The first, a little gray tabby came out feet first and she looked like she was having a tough time with it. I went to get my rubber gloves in case she really needed some help and by the time I got back she was done.
I think she had the third but with the position she's n, I can't really see what she's doing.

And the final count is........4 !!!!!!

Mom and babies are doing well. She ate very well late last night...too well, too much and too fast and she regurged some... but otherwise seems to be doing well. The kittens look like they are all doing well too. I changed her bedding once I thought she was done and she got really growly....good mama didn't want me messing with the kittens. But the bedding was changed and the room is nice and warm for them.

I took some good pics of them while Nanceen took a little break, but she came back when one started to meow.

I guess congratulations are in order! Well, at least for you taking such good care of Nanceen and babies, and Nanceen for being such a good mom. Is the rescue group going to find homes for the kittens? The owners are not going to take any, right?

They are so cute, and mom looks so proud!

Mom Paws, where are you located...maybe we could arrange something ?

Traci, yes the group will have them shown at Petco when they're ready. The owners will not be taking any and as lame brained as they seem to be, they are at least concerned enough about them to adopted out through a group rather than just dumping them in any ol' shelter, free to good home ad in the paper or standing outside a store with a box.
They do want her back though, which the rescue group is trying to talk them out of taking her back so she can get adopted to a home that actually has a clue. We'll see about that. But before they get her back, she will be spayed.

Okay Mom Paws...you asked for it! The kittens are doing great. I weighed them yesterday afternoon and all came up 4-4.5 ounces which is good. They are eating and sleeping and moving about here andd there and mama is being very good and attentive with them.
I even had a horrible nightmare last night. I dreamt that they were already running around, LOL!
