oh it is a country...aka redneck...floor alright....4x8 sheets of subfloor painted with KILZ...hahaha...it gets swept and damp mopped daily (or almost daily)...but I would love to replace it with something that looks nicer, I have my eye on some pinkish marble tiles
....but the house needs alot of other work done first!!...floors are LAST to be done in my books....
The curtains...I have actually had hanging now for 16 years...WOW....the SAME ones....I cannot believe it....they get washed and rehung a few times a year...there are a few tears in them, but for the most part, the cats do not climb them or play in them....even on breezy days....
But then too, in summer, I tend to tie them in a knot in the lower center and just leave them that way....let's more breeze in and there is less flapping to attract their attention....
