First some pictures of dogs I brought to Queenie for placement.
A dachsie mix we called Roxie.

A very scared little chihuahua mix whose name I forgot.

Finally two young dogs of supposedly sheltie extraction.

Feeding time at the zoo. Our dogs are very orderly in their eating spots and habits. I had to hurry up and take the picture quickly after putting out the food. As you can see Mr. Dawg is almost finished already. Who is surprised that Mr. Dawg ate so fast?

Now some pics taken between rains today. The Wet ground has not detered some dogs from laying (Lieing?) down. I imagine it is nice and cool for them.

Since the rains have started the Crepe Myrtle has started to bloom. Note that Ivory is on the ground too, behind the Dogloo and of course Bernie has jumped on top to play Snoopy.

Bernie is quite happy in his role as Snoopy follower. Here he is sitting comfortably on the Dogloo. It is almost as if he knows what a camera is and is posing for the picture.

The rest of the dogs have done everything they needed to do and went back inside. The pups continued to lounge outside. Here is a rare picture of all four at once.

Ooops I hear thunder. I better hurry and shut everything down.

Great pics, Skeptic...as someone who lives with...
... a dog who seemingly inhales his dinner, I'm not surprised Mr. Dawg finishes fast (hey, maybe it's the "Mr" in their names that makes him and Mr. Blue such chowhounds I always like to see Bernie on top of the Dogloo! That Roxie is a real cutie; hope she soon ends up in a great forever home!

Mine also inhale their food. Allie is fed last, but always finishes first. If I don't stay in the kitchen, she will head over to Angel's bowl and finish off hers.
As for the "sheltie extraction" - maybe 6 generations back or so - I don't see anything in those dogs that even resembles a sheltie, except maybe the longish hair! Haven't a clue what might be there, but sheltie seems a bit unlikely.

First About the ears -- They just naturally fold that way. What is great they stay 'dry' and mite free. Only have to clean some mud from the outter areas occassionaly.
About Roxy -- If you want I can contact Karen about Roxy, but I think she has already found a home. ...
About the eating. We have most of them pretty well trained not to go to another dog's bowls. Pea Pod, Prince and Sweet Pea seem to be immune to that type of training.
I've been pretty busy, and when I haven't, thunder storms have kept me off of the computers.
