Blackfoot

I posted more indepth in the canine health forum...but my Blackfoot needs prayers as we found out this evening he has a heartworm...

He got a shot to hopefully kill the heartworm, plus steriods and antibiotics to help him, but at this point, he is not eating and is losing weight...

The vet said the next two weeks are going to tell if he will pull through this or not...

Please pray for Blackfoot, that he gets past all of this with relatively little pain or discomfort...and if it is not to be, that he cross the Bridge peacefully...

Thank you, Ladies I know prayer works wonders...

I just wish I did not have to go to work tomorrow...I only work from 8-12, but with drive time and road construction, I will not get home until after 1:00...
Usually my mother would come and check on him for me... but she leaves for Wash, DC tomorrow morning...so Blackfoot really will only be in God's hands and all I can do is pray that He will use those healing hands to work on Blackfoot...

Anyways...since I do have to get up so early, it is best I try to go get some sleep and stop reading about and looking at pictures of those nasty worms....

Since Blackfoot does not know about prayer and positive imaging, I guess I will do it for him...imagine those worms leaving his body without blocking any major arteries...or causing more harm in the process

I will be hoping for the best outcome for Blackfoot. It is amazing what can be done these days and it is apparent he has a lot of positive action going for him. Sorry, but I don't recall which of your dogs this is?

Blackfoot is eating...Hamburger Pizza!!...But at least it is somehitng in his stomach at this point...

Blackfoot is my 9 year old shepherd/collie (mom) and lab (dad) mix.

I was going to post a pic of Blackfoot, but my ofoto albums seem to be gone!! I need to figure out what the did with them...

When I find a pic of him, I will post...
