Behavior help

Post by Steph777 »

I've had my cat tabitha since she was 2 months old. She's an indoor cat and the only one I have. I love her to death, but she has behavioral problems. She acts almost bi-polar, extremely lovable at one time, and the next she viciously attacks me. I've used soft-paws claw caps, but they don't stop her, she bites and uses her back feet. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong. She can be very lovable one minute, and the next she seriously tries to hurt me. I dont know if its because I have spoiled her, or if shes lonely. I'm afraid that if I get another cat she will attack it, shes very possessive. I dont know where to turn or who to ask, what can I do about this??

Can you give us some examples of a typical attack, what you are doing, what she is doing before she attacks you? Also is she spayed?
