For whoever said that they couldn't say to throw the girl out... well, I'm a little younger and have a little less tact, so I can say it. Throw the wench on the street. Obviously this cat is something you care very deeply about; you've gone to great lengths to find him and are obviously emotionally distraught by this. ANY woman who cannot obviously recognize this and have enough compassion for you and your feelings to at least tolerate the cat isn't deserving of your time. She deliberately did something that hurt you. Don't let anyone walk on you that way. You sound like a really sweet person. Don't give anyone the chance to take advantage of that.

I really hope you find your cat... and the courage to at least tell this woman where she stands.

Our 'black' cat got out of the house two years ago, and I was told to leave his scent outside via his litterbox, feeding dishes, etc. etc. I believe cats can pick up scents from miles away.

He did come home after a few days, and I continue to be grateful.

p.s. Praying also goes along way.

When my mom and dad split when I was youger I would visit my mom in the city and I brought my kitty with me once. Well he got out and we thought we lost him but he came back over a month later. But he was an out door cat and a tuff s.o.b. I haven't given up hope yet but it has been a month now so I have kind of accepted the fact he's not coming back. As for the girl friend things are not getting any better. Our other two cats seem to be following me around and sucking up to me. Durango used to sleep beside my pillow at night and now Simba does, and she never ever did that before. Anyways Thanks again for all the support

Simba (of course) knows....so sorry she is feeling the loss but how could she not. glad to hear that your other cats at least have you to "suck up to".

take care Stang.

Stang,

I've followed your story and I'm sorry to hear that Durango has not yet returned to you. My guy Smokey was gone for a week and I can relate in part to the feelings you have been experiencing... I won't even go there concerning the GF..

It sounds like your other kitties may be trying to comfort you. Hopefully Durango is in a comfortable place too.. Sounds like he was on the move at one time.

Prayers continue for you and Durango...

Please take care.
