Glad you posted this. Mickey is getting to the point that he may need something like this soon. I wish I knew how to make him feel better. I think I may put him back on the yucca and see if it helps. I still think the Rimadyl is what made him so sick a while back, and aspirin makes him throw up, most of the time even if he takes it with food. He is getting weaker and weaker. I'm afraid "decision time" may be approaching. He still eats well, takes time to assert his "alpha-ness" and play in his own way, and seems to genuinely enjoy life when he's not sleeping. So, "that time" is not here yet, but I fear it may be soon. Something like this could help make it easier for him for a little bit.

have you considered Dexamethasone...over a year of heavy dosage it will harm i=him but if youcan get a low maitenance dose at least he will be comfortable untill the back or whatever overwhelms him..give it a try, worst it will do is not work...
