Fixin to take my kitten to the vet....need to know info!

I am fixing to take my 8 week old kitten to the vet for her first vaccinations. I haven't ever taken a kitten, just a puppy. What vaccinations should she get at the first visit. And what else should I have her checked for. What all will they do at her first check up?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
