I felt something was wrong with Nellybelle, but was having difficulty locating the problem. Every now and then she made a funny noise, but never with the hood up and with me outside to check it out. I found it today... The water pump was failing and failed this morning. Here she is tonight.
I may post a picture after finishing the operation tomorrow. ....

Poor Ebony was stung or bitten by something in the back yard. This pic is not clear, but she had a big lump on her neck, but it has gone down after treating with Benedryl. The biggest problem is she scratched it raw with her hind leg.

don't have an obligatory Ivory pic this time, instead here is a good one of Pea Pod with a very destroyed woobie.

All that work today, using muscles I haven't used in years has a price and I am paying it now. I will be going to bed early.
Best wishes for all who need them.

Re: NellyBelle is sick
She is all back together and running great. I have 89,000 on her, but that doesn't mean a thing. My wife has one in the same year with over 100,000 miles and the original pump. This one failed in a way that I have seen only 5 times before. The Impeller began spinning on the shaft. In all the other cases that this happened in, the cars overheated and had warped heads. NellyBelly didn't get hot at all! ....
