Squinty eye

Post by Jodi »

Hi everyone!!! Chessa's one eye will not open the whole way, and it has a semi-glazed look to it. I just noticed this a few minutes ago. She will also squeeze it shut while leaving the other eye open. I plan on taking her to the vet tomorrow to get it checked out, but does anyone have any ideas what it could mean that it looks a little cloudy/glazed? Thanks in advance...

if it wern't for the couldy and glazed i would suspect a foreign object but cloudy and glazes usually means conjunctivitis...but don;t take that a gospil cause it is hard to see from here.....but your vet will clarify it in the morning...let us know please.

Now she is hiding under the bed, won't come out for a treat (which always brings her running) and is holding her head funny. I'm very worried, maybe this shouldn't wait???

Chessa is going to be just fine...DaveT, you were right! It's conjunctivitis, and the vet gave me some drops to put in her eye. She is acting better already!!!

Thanks for the advice! I guess I just worry too much...
