On the other side of the doorway, there's a dresser that stands about five feet high. He can jump onto that (he can jump onto the top of the fridge, too... kangaroo cat) and then jump onto the door. He sits up there and catches bugs. I'm a little nervous about him getting hurt jumping down, but he seems to have it under control. I try to keep the door closed, but the latch is loose and he knows if he jumps at the handle, it'll open. lol...

Nope, he doesn't get caught. The only time I've ever had to rescue him was when he walked around and around his scratching post with a toy on an elastic string and managed to bungee himself to the scratching post. lol.
