I know, I've been rather a slacker lately!! I feel like I've been so swamped but I'm not sure doing what?!

Anyway, quick update on Doc. He's doing great, wonderful, awesome, fabulous! His whiskers are growing back and he finally lost that one lone long whisker that was hanging on. His fur is sleep, his body is solid and he seems happy as a clam. I need to get some photos of his new baby whiskers.

Lucy and Chunk are doing great too. All three are due for vet visits...not sure how I'm going to swing that one since I'm pretty much squeezed dry (and need a new computer...ugh) but I'll figure it out some how.

In the mean time...I thought you might enjoy these two blog posts that I just put in in the last couple of days.

The Cats of İstanbul - part 1 and part 2. They aren't "my" furkids per se, but I remember each one distinctly.

I am going to continue this series at some point with my other cat photos from my travels.

I actually have no words, just in awe. I cheated and looked at your entire blog, (well, you did say you'd post the url here someday soon, ya know!)

Your photography is just so cool, Tina, I wish I had even just a smidgeon of your talent!

The photography of the cats in Turkey is just awesome, and I remember you blogged about one of your trips, (what happened to that blog?), it was fun living sort of vicariously, LOL.

And, HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY....twice !!! \:D/

Traci, I thought I had posted my blog, but I guess I hadn't. I am glad you enjoyed it. I love doing it. It's time consuming but I do love it. If I could make a good enough living doing the kind of photography I enjoy I would.

I do need to get my own cats photographed again soon, especially Doc. His baby whiskers are so cute!

I don't know what happened to the blog that I created and published when I was in Greece. I think it disappeared off the interwebz because I cannot find it. Too bad, I as hoping it would stick around for eternity. I'm really itching to go back. I'd love organize and arrange a trip to help spay/neuter cats in either Turkey or Greece.

Thanks for the birthday wish!

Well it was cool because we learned about food, coffee, other stuff, and of course, history at the moment you lived it.

Since I won't fly, sail or rail, things like that are interesting to me :)

Ok...this was funny. Today, for some reason, I had the skidamarink song stuck in my head (you know, skidamarink a dink a dink, skidamarink a doo..I love you...) so in trying to remember how the whole song when I got on youtube on my phone and found it. As soon as it started playing Chunk took off, stopped just before he went behind the couch, jumped up on the arm of the couch and looked around like "what the heck was THAT?!"

Image

It was not loud. At all. But I stopped the music, for Chunk's sake...or sanity as the case may be.

I am pretty sure he was thinking "don't you ever play the skidamarink song again...ever! I mean it!"

Image

I always knew he was "skiddish" - bwahahahahahaha!! Get it? skid-a-marink/skid-ish?

(She's laughing at me, isn't she?)
