Ok, those of you who have cats who allow to be vacuumed, you have to tell the rest of us what kind of vacuum you have that doesn't scare the living daylights out of them.

Mine is a canister and there used to be a time when one of the kittens from Gwen's litter, the runt in fact, would ride the top of it was I was wheeling it around the house, while it was on. Mitzi hasn't done that in a while. She won't let me vacuum her but she isn't afraid of it.
As you can see in the video, Jackson is a big boy but it's more his personality that just makes him sit there and chill. One day I was vacuuming around him and he didn't move so I had a "wonder if" moment, ran it across him and he was fine. Now granted this is with the floor attachment. If I have the motorized rug attachment on, they are ghosts.
Also, I keep the power in the middle, more towards minimum suction.

I use the uprights...dirt devil, hoover, bissell; they all "suck". She's not afraid of any of them. I sometimes have to actually nudge her out of the way. I'd bet anything if there was a space on it for her to sit I could push her around on it.
