I know! I thought about that too, but it looks as if there were two people close by...the one recording and there was another one off to the right...I saw the hand reach in once or twice, so I am sure they would grab the claws of the sloth if they got too rough!
It just seemed to be so gentle with the cat...even though I know they move slow...it just seemed to be being very careful and loving!

Yeah, looked like little sloth was totally enamored with kitty 
But, he does need to know those scissors are too long to poke in kitty's ears!
I wonder where it was filmed. In the US, it would be impossible and probably illegal to own a sloth.
