It doesn't seem possible that he's been gone almost 10 years. It seems like only yesterday.

Thinking about my little girl tonight, I really miss her. She was soo cute and tiny, and she was always so glad to see me when I came home. I miss her so much!

Thanks, Traci - I know you understand and have been there. Allie just seemed to be so healthy, I expected to have her with me for at least 2 more years. It just goes to show, you never know, and unfortunately, our furkids are experts at hiding their problems from us.

And that's one of the most difficult things to cope with, the suddenness, the unexpectedness, that they were taken from us too soon. It is just so not fair.

I hope that you are comforted with the happier memories, those in which Allie was in perfect health, having fun, enjoying life with you and her siblings. Those are the memories I try to focus on, hard as it may be.

I still grieve for so many, even those not my own. They were and are so much a significant part of my life, I guess you could say I will never let go.

Allie knows you miss her, and I know that she misses you too. I know it hurts so much!

I totally get how hard it is. I still cannot look at photos of Willow without choking up.

But it was really cute when I was visiting my 2 year old granddaughter she asked what my tattoo on my chest was. I told her it was Willow's paw print and asked her if she could say Willow's nickname - Lil' Oosta. She went around saying "Lil' Oosta!" and it was adorable!! I miss that cat so much.

Yeah... I just had a moment reading about Dax and felt that wave of guilt and sorrow over losing Emmy all over again. It's so hard.
