No pics today but I do have some things to share.

Last night we brought in the Christmas tree and put it up. You should have seen Doc. It was like he had never seen anything like it in his life. After it was decorated he kept stretching up with his paws on the edge of the tub it is in (it's a live tree with a root ball) and just looking like a little kid excited over his first Christmas with a family. He never tried to chew, or knock off ornaments, just stretched and looked. Not sure why I didn't take a photo, darnit! Chunk, he just batted at ornaments (I put cat safe ornaments at the bottom so if they knock them off they can't hurt themselves) and Lucy tried to get into the tree. Cats...gotta love em!

In other news, the oncologist called me today to ask me if it is Ok if Doc is filmed tomorrow at the clinic when he goes for his chemo treatment. They are going to have a news crew in there! So, there is a possibility that Doc might be on TV!

If he does make the news, please post the link to the station website - we can probably see it there.

The tech told me that they definitely filmed Doc. Of course we know they don't use all the footage but maybe he will be on TV! Then again I don't have TV to watch and see

If he ends up used in the piece I will definitely post a link.

Love that boy so very much. He does not appear to be impressed by the cameras.

No, he wasn't. He's not impressed with the clinic these days either. He's had enough of the pokes and prods, poor guy. And of course they gave the dog much more camera time, go figure. Dr. Dervisi is the one treating Doc. He's a really great guy. He called me personally to ask permission to have Doc on camera. :)

That's so awesome that they care about him enough to have him be one of their poster children. I like those docs. A lot.

They really are great there, expensive, but great. I'm lucky to have such a wonderful place so close by.

Some pics!

Lucy didn't want to be bothered...harumph!

Doc thought it was a good day to just curl up and sleep. He was right, it's been cold and windy!! You can see where his poor little leg was shaved for the chemo. Thankfully his belly fur is growing back, but it will have to be shaved next month for a follow up ultrasound *sniff* I have noticed the fur is not growing back very quickly. I'm guessing that is due to the chemo since it targets fast growing cells?

Here's the silly boy sniffing the tree. So far none of them have done any damage - except Chunk. He knocked a wooden horse off and it's head fell of. A friend of mine has dubbed him The Chunkfather for beheading the horse.

Awwwww, such a wonderful little patient, he looks great on tv!!

Love the pics! Try not to worry about Doc's fur growing back too slow, it happens, especially when there is so much to grow back, and due to the double-abdominal surgeries, it's actually growing back in fairly normal time.
