This is why I put french doors in the bedroom

Seriously, they love the doors, can be anywhere in the area, no one's crowded, everyone's happy!

Oh, they have lots of window space. 4 windows this size - two that have either shelves or a chest in front of them so they can sit there and two that go all the way down to the floor - plus a large sliding glass door. They just all decide they want the same space.

This morning just before daylight we heard something that sounded like a large glass bowl being pushed around on the kitchen counter. Before either of us could get up we hear a loud THUNK as something very heavy hit the floor. Of course both of us jump out of bed to see what the cats, we suspected it was Chunk, were into. We found an unopened bottle of wine that was sitting back on the counter (and has been sitting there for a while - well not the same bottle...ahem) in the floor, thankfully unbroken. But, I did discover that Chunk appeared to be trying to open it.

This is just one of the few things we have caught him chewing on. He chewed the corner of my copy of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" DVD too - it too was sitting somewhere DVD's have always sat and never been bothered by him and was unscathed when I went to bed last night because we had just watched it. I'm wondering what else I'm going to find with teeth marks!

You're lucky, I have a wine rack above the counter, Gandolf got up there one day and knocked off one of the bottles, it went everywhere and it's not fun cleaning up wine all over cabinets, floors, furniture. He never did it again!

I responded to your post in FH, but since he seems to have a variety of things he likes to chew on, this may just be boredom (maybe a tad bit of stress), so check the post for other ideas, and if it continues past new methods, you might want to get him checked again by your vet, but chances are, it is a mix of stress and boredom.

Doc is one talented cat - a contortionist AND laser eyes!

Lucy obviously showing that she is queen of the roost. She felt that the bare surface was not acceptable and had to pull the curtain over so she could primp on a suitable silky surface.

And play...

I'm glad too. He craves more attention than I can give him right now and I know this couple will enjoy him so much. She was almost in tears when we were talking about him and his love of cuddling and lap time!
