new rescue kitten

i have just taken in a little ginger tom kitten who was going to be put to sleep he got trapped in a car engine and has lost his ear and might lose his eye he is only 13wks old and seems very happy and playful, my friends think i am being cruel and should of let him be put to sleep! i dont agree!!!

No absolutely not, you are an angel for taking him in. Poor kitty!!

You must if you have not, take him to a vet for care with these types of injuries though.

I know you will love him as though he was perfect, and I wish you all the luck in the world.

Can you tell us what your vet has said, I am assuming you've had him seen, yes??? Eye injuries are serious, if you havent had him evaluated by your vet, do so NOW please, not a minute later.

My friend has a cat with only one eye and it does just fine. The kitty will still have a good quality of life. It's a lovely thing you're doing.

Do tell us what the vet says though.
