My cat needs surgery and I need help

I'm hoping Chip In will work as well for me as it did for Tambrey. My cat Gwen has a lump in her breast, lower nipple that needs to be removed. I won't know if it's benign or malignant until after the surgery scheduled for Thursday October 4th. Please keep a prayer and healing thoughts that it turns out benign.

I closed the chip in page. In an effort to be honest, I posted a copy of the estimate with the vet hospital name and address. One of the girls said they received some phone calls checking it out and while they don't give out personal information, it's just too creepy for me.

Cleo, are you sure it wasn't because people just wanted to verify the vet's clinic? You know how that goes with donations, it's not a bad idea. I hope the girls at the clinic didn't get upset with YOU for doing so?

If the calls were only for verification purposes, I would put the chipin page back up. You don't necessarily have to post the vet's surgery quote costs image, you could simply verify that privately via email if anyone was serious about donating and wanted verfication. The vet won't give any of your personal information out.

If you have this posted elsewhere, please try to ensure the post is updated and/or "bumped", for additional exposure. I realize you had the ending date for the chipin page for Oct 4, but you could still extend that, if by chance your vet would allow payment arrangements, you could still try to get donations (and sales from your etsy shop).

P.S., I can't wait to see the halloween goodies!

The office wasn't mad but they've been super busy so while I feel the need to verify, I don't want to swamp them with unnecessary calls. I hadn't posted this anywhere else, just what Tambrey did for me on reddit but it looks like it's been removed anyway.

I have my Etsy shop making the rounds on Facebook through friends of friends and fingers crossed, someone through my sister might be willing to help big .. or enough to cover. Thanks to you and my friend Sara, I'm off to a good start.
