Hey Mou, thanks for asking! The Dahl fire is just north of us, but we're safe on this side of it (it's finally mostly contained) - it took out 73 homes and a lot of acreage.

Unfortunately, there are thousands of acres elsewhere here still on fire.

That is good news. I get 1st hand pictures from (son) Kim.

He is a "big dog", (Hee Hee), at all the western fires. It is

just so terrible!!! So far we have had a wet year, so no fires

but the grass is SOOOOO high it will be H if it dries out now.

He flies in and out. He is the aviation director for region 6

with the USFS. I worry about him ALL the time, even when

it is not fire season because he flies, not commercial, to

so many meetings.
