Tambrey, I've shared the link on some other message boards. Two requests:

1. Do you mind if I take the pictures and put them up in a folder on imgur instead of on your personal Photobucket? That way there's no chance of your personal pictures leaking out to the rest of the web. I'll gladly do it so there's no hassle for you. It's just a more anonymous way of uploading pictures because there are no usernames or anything attached.

2. A few people have requested we somehow prove this isn't a scam. The best suggestion is a little sign next to Scooter that says "Hello, Internet! I'm Scooter." And the date. That way people know we didn't just find the pictures on an image search and try to get money with them.

Silvr, if you mean people you know or on some of the forums you've posted on, just send them to this post thread, we can all vouch for Tambrey, as a forum member, friend, forum moderator, cat caretaker, etc, if that helps. Some of us actually know where Tambrey lives and her phone number

Not that we would ever in a million years give out that information to anyone, I'm simply saying that I personally vouch for Tambrey's credibility.

In addition, the chipin page has Tambrey's posts, and she will update them when applicable.

Thanks for sharing the link silvr! I do not mind if you share the pics in a different album either...

Thanks for vouching for me Traci....I can surely understand how many would think it is a scam...but as stated, I will give updates at least every 2-3 days.

I will be leaving for Denver Thursday morning and not returning until late Saturday night, so no updates will be posted during that time, and I will note that up there.

I have been in contact with the clinic in North Dakota still, they did request I remove the half down payment as this is not something they normally do, so I will respect that. She also said that Dr. Burchill and the team are still discussing options and will hopefully get in touch with me personally within the next few days!

ha...just got another reply from the practice manager at Casselton Vet Clinic. She thinks it is pretty awesome that hubby is taking vacation time to be with Scooter, and she will try hard to have Dr. Burchill call me before I leave for Denver, she said she will "keep after him" with a winking smiley face!

I'm glad to hear you got another response.

May I ask if you don't mind, what forums, etc you have already posted to? (You can PM me if you wish)

I have only posted to this forum, the only one I really go to any more...and my Facebook page...

I looked at some of the other sites you mentioned, but could not find specifically where to post to get this going there....like at
care2 - I never did find a place to post it there...but, I just looked again and decided to dig deeper into the community link, and am posting there as soon as I can
handicapped pets - that seems to be just to get needed devices
petfinder - I did find the forums there but waiting for activation/approval

I tried to find a link to the reporter that did Corky's story for ABC but it kept giving me an invalid link....

Keep trying, Tambrey, sometimes it takes a little xtra time and effort to find the proper place to post in some forums. I've seen such posts in the mentioned forums though. (I don't peruse them often, don't have time). I think the ASPCA also has a community forum too.

As for the ABC news reporter, ask another staff member how to reach whomever you're looking for.

Thanks Traci..I did finally get approved for Petfinder, but still when I try to login I am not found....ggrrrrr....

I also got in and posted on handicappedpets, but that one does not seem to be frequented too often, judging from the dates of the posts.

Thank you Tina!
