Doc got is nails trimmed today and he did fairly well. he was a bit squirmy but we managed without too much of a struggle. He really loves his people time.

Someone getting some lap time. He is not cooperative when it comes to taking photos for the most part, but I managed to get a few...

After a bit of play he was tuckered out <3

Isn't it amazing the difference from that first photo I posted of him?

His nose has fur!

Two more apartments to view tomorrow. The one today, I took one look at and left. NO FREAKING WAY. Pieces of the trim by the roof were missing. One window had blinds with a huge burn mark on them. What on earth? Ugh...

Yes, he has fur on his nose!!

Sorry the apartment hunting isn't going so smoothly. It's ridiculous what they expect people to live in these days. Sending good apartment hunting vibes!

(darn...the buff colored cat came up onto our deck tonight...I am NOT taking on another stray...I am NOT taking on another stray!)

Tina, great pics, obviously it was some good loving that has transformed him!

I love the little stirrups on his paws, among so many other of his unique features, what a beauty!

Just a few notes on Doc, as I have got to know him and observe his personality:

1. He needs a high sided litter box because he is a major slinger!
2. He adores catnip most of the time
3. He's kind of an "underfoot" type.
4. He's not overly fond of noise. When the AC unit comes on over there he's still rather skittish about it looking at it suspiciously.
3. He's just as sweet as can be, but we already knew that

my litterboxes are basic 18 gallon (?) storage totes that I use a hot knife (I have a serrated knife just for this) that I use to cut an opening in the end, high enough to keep litter in, and oval enough for them to walk into it easily...

No overthrow and no overspray from the guys who still prefer to stand
