rocky's first post p/u uti

woke up this morning to rocky in my bed and an unpleasant surprise floating next to me. before the p/u, he would urinate in my bed (soft and safe place) due to the pain.

this is the first time he has done that since the p/u, been about 3 months. anyhow, vet visit showed some bacteria so its back to the old one a day of baytril for 10 days.

the really good news, is this urinalysis this morning was the first time ever that absolutely no crystals were found. this is such a great thing. ph level was 6 on the money...that cd-s is a god-send.

i'll update when situations improve, no real questions...just keeping you all informed.

not sure, they didnt ask me what i wanted! hey used baytril the last time he had a uti and it eventually did the trick, took about 3 weeks or so.

have ten days dosage of baytril and have a recheck setup for 7 days from today.

Sals is on a ten day spree with Baytril too. That's because she doesn't do Clavamox well. And the Baytril seems to have cured her other two ailments (ear infection and cold) in the past easily enough.
I hope Rocky is okay. I'm glad that no crystals were found. Give him a big kitty kiss for me!
