Faith in Need of Prayers

Post by Tambrey »

This happened a couple of weeks ago and I have been following her story....I just thought I would share here for more prayers for Faith...and Hero, her companion who stood by her and got her help....

The story reads from the bottom up

http://samanthasboxers.chipin.com/faith ... ds-surgery

warning, her injuries and surgeries might be disturbing to some (rods etc in her legs), but she is a sweetheart and coming through this really well!

I just want to get as many prayers as we can out there for her

oh...and the house that she was found in....it was demolished a week later...who knows what could have happened if for some reason she was still there, and still alive, when the crews came out to do their job! Hopefully they would have found her...but thankfully a good person rescued her alot sooner!

I hope whomever adopts Faith will ALSO adopt her pal Hero, it seems the only right thing to do (keeping them together).

I'm surprised though, that no owner has come forth. Both dogs look to be in otherwise good health, breed specific, together in the same area etc.

When I showed my mom, she wondered if they had been left behind at that house when whoever it was moved...maybe hard times forced them out and they had to leave them....or with windows popped out maybe a fire and something happened to the owners, and rescuers were not aware of the dogs at that time, ? That would explain how she managed to get to the house (maybe even helped/dragged there by Hero), because if they were just wanderers, would they have known about it?

And I do hope they go together too...he took such good care of her I would think that the organization would try to adopt them out together...

I am just so thankful there was one good person that stopped to help. And that one person knew just the right vet to take it to so this rescue organization could take on the task of helping her...them.

I was just reading updates on their FB page...Hero was adopted by the family that stopped to help...praying that when Faith is ready, she will get to go home with them too

In the meantime, Faith has had a setback...her body is not liking the hardware and meds she is on....here is what they posted

"Faith needs a few extra prayers today . She is in good spirits ,but her body is not liking the new hardware or the meds she is on . Faith has swelling , bleeding , an upset stomach and diarrhea. They are trying new meds , but no change just yet :( You would never know any of things are wrong with her , as her spirit remains unbroken . Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers ."
