I so wish I could touch this kitten so I could find it a good home before winter.
Not that the others don't deserve good forever homes as well, but sometimes one just stands out

So Pretty!!! An aside though - any chance she's deaf? 2 different eye colors often go along with deafness (in humans and in animals). If she is, it would not be good for her to continue in her feral state. I hope you are able to get her to come to you so she can find a good home.

Unless she is feeling the vibrations of our steps, she runs awfully fast when we approach her...or him...I have not even gotten close enough to tell that (I guess I could use the camera to get a pic and then z
oom in on that end!!)

do the others let you pet them? If they do, this one may see you petting them and become interested in being petted too. Do you ever offer them treats directly from your hand to attract them toward you? That would work for a dog, but I don't really know the cat mind well enough to know if they would fall for that. I hope you're able to get to gain his/her confidence.

Canned tuna (in spring water) or Fancy Feast canned salmon flavor will interest them, but of course, you have to earn their trust. It takes time, but with persistence, it can be done.

yes, most of the others let us pick them up, and some come running to us to be picked up and they purrrrrr away!
This one will sit back and watch, but as soon as we turn attention to it, it turns and runs. However, not as far as it used to, so that is a start!

I just keep trying and hope to eventually gain its trust.

Then the next chore is to find homes...and NOT mine!

IF I could win the lottery. I would buy the acrege next door. They bought it for $8,000 and have done a few thousand in repairs, so if I had $20,000 cash to offer I think I would have it...

There is a trailer on the property with an attached entry porch which would be PERFECT to house ALL of the ferals --- fter getting vetted and spayed/neutered...
I could add a fenced/screened in area out back, with a fence/screen over the top, so they could still go outside if they chose to do so, but be protected, and there would be LOTS of rooms inside, including the kitchen for feeding, for them to all be comfy....

Of course, I do not have the money nor the credit line to do so....but every time I am sitting in the bathroom, I look over tht property and dream!
