We are trying to get Gretchen to foster these for a while...their regular foster parent is out of town for a week or so....Gretchen took to them OK, but I think it was a bit much for her. I'm opting to bottle feed them most of the time.
That new handy-dandy digital is really showing off some great pics, Tina! Gretchen is such a sweetheart. I'm glad to hear you're supplementing them, I really doubt she has enough milk to support them all. I know you know this, but do keep an eye on each one to ensure no crowding and each is getting plenty during each feeding/nursing.
Traci...I'm actually keeping them seperate from Gretchen and her brood What I plan on doing is seperating Gretchen from her kittens for a while each day so I can try to start getting the kittens to eat in addition to the nursing (Gretchen always eats up all the food!)...at that point I will put the new litter with Gretchen for a while and let them nurse. But for the most part I am giving them the bottle every 3-4 hours. Whew!!
Tina, they are all just so adorable, especially the little guy under the "What a life"!!!!...I hope your game plan works and that Gretchen will take to them.
