I took her in today and they ran a senior panel. I will get the

results tomorrow. Her temp and heartrate were fine, gums

pink and no blood on the thermometer. I will go back in the

morning and we will discuss the pred. She still isn't feeling

right, but ate and drank.

Mou, has she been "off" like this before, other than night before last?

Please let us know what your vet tells you tomorrow with bloodwork. Here's hoping it's nothing and that she'll be just fine.

Yes, but NEVER over 12 hours. She threw all food up last evening and

her BM is black. I am very scared. She is sick for sure, lethargic and

doesn't want food.

We are leaving in a few minutes.

Aww geez, sorry, Mou. Black stool isn't always necessarily a bad sign of illness, but glad you're taking her in - prayers she is ok!!

She is in kidney failure. I will do all I can to care for her with

the right foods and fluids.

How old is she (I'm assuming this is Jenni?)

Is she hospitalized, or at home?

She will be 8 Aug. 7th. Yes, it is Jenni. She is home. They gave her
IV fluid today and I will give it every day. She will go back next friday
to be checked. Earlier if needed.

She is on Royal Canin? KD and the Purina wet KD. OK?

All of them have a veterinary renal formula, any of the renal formulas are fine.

Were the renal values all that was amiss? No other secondary conditions?

Is the vet confident you can get those values down?
