As you all know, We have WAy too many semi-feral (outside) cats to feed and take care of and I have been wanting to find them good forever homes for a while now
Well..my brother's wife's niece and her husband and 4 sons just moved back to the area...on a ranch with multiple barns and want some cats! I know I usually would not let them go and be "farm cats"...but I know she will take care of them and even though they will be outside, they will have shelter, heat, food and water and medical care...and boys to play with...
She said they will stay in one of the barns with doors shut until they know that is now their home...there will be ai ventilation and it will not be too hot out there....in winter there will be heat lamps and good warm bedding and houses...
She raises horses for show and barrel racing and roping and is impeccable on her animal care...I have known her since she was a little itty bitty girl and watched her grow into a caring responsible young woman...
Soooo..Hopefully on Sunday, she and her family will be coming to get all eight kittens and the 3 moms that share in their care...a tortuiseshell "Tree-dweller", a black and white "Sylvester" and an all black "no name yet"...and 4 males...2 white brothers "Myst" and "Moe", an orange tabby "marmalade" and a black one "no name yet"....
That is 7 adults and 8 kittens that will be gone from here and to what I know will be a good home!!
That will be one less 20# bag of food a week!
ALOT of the Ferals Might Have a Home!!!

Thanks
I will probably buy two bags of food still...one bag right now lasts me about 4 days...so I might be able to feed 1 bag a week, not sure...we'll have to see...I think Stripe has babies hiding in the garage, but we will never be able to catch and rehome her...
