My dad will not let me take my cat to the vet. My cat is drooling excessively and theres some traces of blood. Her pupils aren't changing when addmitted to light. Plus, she is'nt meowing anymore and she is hiding under the bed all day. What should I do to help her
Is there blood in her saliva, is that what you mean? If so, tell your dad that your kitty deserves to see a vet, after all, she is depending on you for her ultimate care and welfare. Why is he not obliging you?
Fixed pupils, excessive salivation, blood, and withdrawal are all signs of an emergency, you have no idea if she got into something toxic or is suffering some fatal illness, emergency veterinary care is paramount ASAP. Tell your dad you are willing to help pay for the expenses if he'll let you do extra chores, etc,...the important thing is your kitty is seen by a vet RIGHT NOW!
Yes, please please please get her to a vet as soon as you can. Look for an emergency vet number, call tonight if you can. There's really no way to diagnose this over the internet... you can make sure she's drinking and has something to eat, stay with her, keep her warm...
