Help cats in Greece!

Post by Tina B and crew »

If any of you are on Facebook please consider doing this. Go to this page:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kiehls-in ... 6009294086

and click like. For each person who "likes" Kiehls in Greece" they will donate half a euro to Nine Lives Greece to spay/neuter stray and feral cats. Nine Lives is the organization that I volunteered for while I was in Athens and they desperately need the help. This is a legit request. You can always "unlike" the page down the road.

I would love to, but I don't have a FB account - can you click for me?

(sorry, I won't sign up for FB, I don't trust FB or any of the social networking sites)

Could always just sign up for a totally fake account, Traci. Register as Minnie Mouse or something.

Nope...can't click for anyone, it has to be "liked" but individual accounts.

I've had FB for years and have never had a problem with anyone getting my information. Privacy controls are pretty good as long as you know how to set them (and it's easy)

For the record they have so far raised enough in the last 24 hours to spay/neuter 23 cats. Not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but that's all from word of mouth about this!

I can't believe you gals talked me into this

I signed up, clicked on their "Like", and I think it was still at 23?

Do they update it or is it automatic?

Anyway, ok, so I would sign up for FB for a good kitty cause, and because Tina has done so very much for them, now I'm going to make you all become my secret friends.

(just kidding)

Awww....Traci I could hug and kiss you!!

I think they are just keeping count of the likes and tallying them. Yes, the last update they posted was 23 cats, but I think I've seen the number of "likes" for the page triple if I'm not mistaken. They are donating up to 2,000 euro to the cause. That's a good amount of money!!

Awww, Tina, no problem, just don't make me actually use the account, LOL.

I am still in awe over the extreme and hard work you did when you were there, and the Turkey cats too, I know you wanted to do so much, and I know how hard it was for you to leave. You're my hero, in case you didn't know.

I would do it again in a heartbeat!!

And no, you don't have to use the account. Unless you want to "friend" me and see all my adorable grand-baby and cat photos...and see a constant stream of controversial subjects come up in your newsfeed. 8) I swear many of my FB "friends" have hidden me because they can't take my virtual activism in animal rights, religious, and political causes....
