How did I know you would say that silver? :D Isn't it just uncanny? What are the chances that I'd see another dilute torbie up for adoption like this? It has to be Willow's doing. Willow loved her mommy so much...my heart is about to burst thinking about it. My sweet girl continues to look after me :)

Do you believe in fate? I do think Willow might have been guiding you. You avoided going in for how long? And you picked this day right after that cat was dropped off. And this cat looked right at you and gave you "that look" that reminded you of Willow. And with all the other cats in the room, this one runs right to you. And this one looks almost like Willow and does some of the same quirky things,. Doesn't sound like coincidence to me.

Methinks congratulations are in order, so CONGRATS!!!

So, what are you thinking of naming her? Can I offer one up?

Traci - that's beautiful! I think it's perfect. :rthumb:

Tina - of course the name choice is totally up to you and I know you'll find just the right name for your new girl.

Nope. No coincidence. Totally Willow looking out for you. You'll never convince me otherwise.

Thanks, Karen, it just automatically came to me.

But the important thing is what comes to Tina

Haven't decided on a name yet...but I have something up my sleeve. I knew yesterday afternoon when I started thinking of a name that the deal was practically sealed.

Thanks for the suggestion Tracy...I'll keep it in mind. I'm kind of waiting to see what her purrsonality is like first. :D

I like to get to know them first too. Dylan is the only one I named before I got him and that name came from his pedigree. I don't think I ever told this here, but he is from Ireland Shelties and his sire is a very famous sheltie: Champion Pop Star of Northern Farm, Google him-he's gorgeous (he was originally from Japan and his call name is Musashi for a famous Japanese warrier). Dylan is a tricolor, so he's mostly black and I thought of "midnight" for the dark black and was trying to think of something in the "pop star" theme that would also be Irish (or Celtic) for Ireland shelties, so I thought of Bob Dylan/Midnight Train. I was required by contract to use the "Ireland" in his name, so his AKC registered name was supposed to be "Ireland's Midnight Star" (call name Dylan). I was also required by contract to neuter him, but to be honest I didn't see any benefit in registering a neutered dog, so I never sent in the AKC papers, but he kept the name "Dylan".
