What is the smelliest cat food?

Post by Marty »

Vet Lady said it would be OK to give my old dog 1 or 2 cans per week mixed in with her dog food to get her to eat more.

I bought some Friskies, but she doesn't seem too interested.

Have you tried Alpo (for dogs)?

If the dog has allergies, be careful about the catfood, many contain fish and chicken.

Otherwise, if you want "smelly" cat food, I'd say Fancy Feast would be it.

Thanks, I'll get some of each. Maybe variety is the spice of life... :)

No allergies with Biscotti.

MomPaws, apparently dogs can lose some of their sense of smell when older. Biscotti is almost 15 and not eating well. Vet said it is normal, but to use this to encourage her appetite.

Like Traci said...but maybe why Newman's Organic would be good. Don't see fish or chicken on label...prob. good idea to try both. Good luck.
