I just had an idea about my cat's problem.

I was just reading some old messages on here and I got an idea.
Traci asked someone if she had any new smells on her or anything.
Well, I have all kinds of new smells on me.
For the past year, I have been staying with my mother every other day.
My sister and I take turns keeping my mom at her house.(she is bed-ridden.
I'm sure I have a lot of different smells especially since my sister has a dog that she keeps here on her days here.
It's possible he's afraid of these smells or something.

The other cats don't seem to be bothered by these smells.
If this is part of the problem, what can i do about it????

It's possible, but not sure if likely. Since the other two don't seem irritated by the scents, and because it sounded like Patches has been this way since kittenhood? If you feel it is a process of elimination, simply change your clothes when you get home and put the other ones away in a place Patches can't get to.
