Ella

Post by Tambrey »

a friend of ours took her daughter's kitty to the vet the other day, because Ella had been sick and not eating....Ella tested positive for Feline Leukemia...
They brought Ella back home so K could spend some time and say her goodbys....this is the little girl who had a very rough summer and she also has a brain injury and learning disabilities from being hit by a car about 3 summers ago...

Ella went across the Rainbow Bridge this morning....

They are getting her two kitties...she gave a little bit of a smile when they told her...because she does love Ella...

the kitties are both all white long hairs...another friend of ours was looking for a home for them....

And yes Traci....I already told the mom of Ella to make sure things are cleaned and sanitized or thrown away, and the new kitties are tested and have vaccines before they even come into the home!!

I also mentioned that sometimes, especially blue-eyed kitties...and I do not know the colours of these kitties eyes...are hearing impaired or totally deaf and gave her links to that...just in case, so they do not think the kitties are just being naughty and ignoring them!!

What a sweet picture of Ella kitty and K. They look so peaceful and happy together. I'm glad the photo was taken - it will always be treasured by the family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Ella. What a beautiful, sweet kitty she is. How sad she had to leave because of feline leukemia. I know Ella is well and happy now at the Rainbow Bridge. I'm sure it was very painful for her family to lose her, especially for the little girl. Poor little thing. It sounds like she has had to deal with a lot of suffering for her young age.

I know K will miss Ella a lot. But I hope the two new kittens will lift her spirits. My deepest sympathies to K and her family.

Sue (And Kids!)
My kitties Shadow and Tank enable me to enjoy my existence and brighten my world. And may my angels, Nikki, Sparky, Buster, Frosty, Snowball, Leo, Foghorn, and Humane Society kitties be playing in the sunshine at the Rainbow Bridge.
