You are kidding, Monquie will be 4? I remember when he was a tiny newborn!

He has a teddy bear but shows now interest in it. Willow also has a stuffed dog that she likes to knead on and I've seen him cuddled next to that once, so he has other options besides Willow and maybe he will learn to use them when she gets crabby. I also have fleece blankets all over the place here, for both the cats and myself! Miss Grumpy in the Morning is fine right now, sleeping on the bed with Chunk (although no snuggles yet) I really think she is not a morning cat and that's when poor little Chunk is the most lovable!

Seems like we take two steps back for every one step forward...Willow has become increasingly intolerant of Chunk BUT she's doing more of her normal things in her daily routine (like spending more time on mommy's lap, some playing on her own etc) Right now I sit here with Willow curled up on my lap and chunk snuggled next to me. On occasion he stretches out his paws and touches Willow, to which she glares and hisses. Before she'd usually take off but today she's not moving. I touched her when she did this and told her "no, Chunk's being sweet" She just glared and put her head back down and fell back asleep. But, I guess in looking at the positive, they are sleeping 2 inches from each other and Willow is sharing mommy's lap, sort of

Starting tomorrow they will be spending more time alone together since I head back to class....I'm hoping that will show Willow that it's not so bad to have another furkid in the house, then she's not alone!
