E's...allergies could be a possiblity. I do have a used ac in that room now and she is the only one that is sneezing. She is active, eats well, affectionate, etc...just sneezy.

Keep a close eye on her, you don't have their health history/exposure so you may need to be prepared for a URI or the like. Are you using canned Iams kitten food? It usually smells great to even the most fussy kitten.

It sounds like your rescue group is always on the go and actively involved. Ours are rotating space/weekends with Petsmart, and if one of the rescue org directors gets in a hissy fit, they all follow suit. Can't work together at all, it's frustrating as heck.

I'm keeping an eye on her. Right now they're getting the remains of the Authority kitten food. She does eat and eats well...they all do...I see her chowing down...playful, affectionate, etc.
This rescue group is very active....lots of fundraisers, quite a number of fosters two main vet groups they get discounts with and one they use sometimes.
I only just recently found out what a great network of people that are willing to help you out with stuff there is. In just a little over a week I got a loaner on a crate and and ac for free. And all I did was sit on my butt and send out a mass email!!!!
As for the adoptions, I find that if I'm there I can push my cats more than they can. I also ask if they're interested in adopting if I see them looking at mine. Sometimes they are, but really into commiting at the time, but if I like them I can try to push them over.
There can be some animostiy between this one or that one from time to time, but they all get over it and the real deal is the cats in the long run,l
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

I want to work with YOUR rescue group :P I love the fact that you make your own appearances to encourage the adoption process.....here, the rescue groups drop off their pets and expect Petsmart to "market" them. It drives me insane.

Glad to hear Paulie is keeping up her appetite, but just remember, those URI's can get nasty PDQ, and spread quite rapidly. I know you'll keep an excellent eye on her!

The Hissers are all just as cute as they can be. The orange and white is just adorable. That one reminds me of my grandmother's cat Kiki (KeeKee). My cousin was too young to be able to say "kitty' when he showed up at Granny's back door, she said Keekee, so this little kitten was christened Kiki. I always wanted to love that cat, but he really didn't like kids. I was so hurt that he wouldn't let me love him. (I was only 5, but I remember). Kiki was an indoor-outdoor cat, and unfortunately lost his battle with a car. He's the main reason I believe in indoor only.

Traci, the Hissers are doing well...Paulie and Heineken are still sneezing a bit but otherwise they are the most playful and have hearty appetites.

As for Petsmart, I do like the glass enclosures they have so the dogs can't bother them, but I agree about Petsmart handling the adoptions. Even at Petco, both groups operating there are allowed to leave one cat condo and have whatever they wish left there during the week. And if someone is interested in one of the cats left there, they call the rescue group...they do not go through Petco.
Petco does chip in a 10% off coupon; we offer a free bag of kitten/cat food, other coupons and a discount for further shots, s/n, etc with one of our contributing vets. We will also clip nails for free, offer advantage at cost.
Kitty kisses,
Debbie
