E's- I will have to check that show - Quantum Leap- out.

Debbie...how many other cats do you have? And when Nanceen goes back to her family (is she?) will you let Ziggy play with your other cats?

First there were 4,
Then there were 3 ,
Now there is just Zig - e.

Well I made the "drop" a day early, Saffron and Rocky are now in their new home. I miss them already. Nanceen and Ziggy seem to miss them too. Poor little Zig looks so lonely. I'm hoping I will be able to take him to Petco this Saturday. If he gets adopted, in about two weeks nanceen can be spayed and once recuped from that back to her owners.

MomPaws, I have seven of my own-Sals, Razzeratz, Sasha, Gracie, Morris, Missy and Mr. Orange.
How many do you have?
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

Sheesh, did I miss something AGAIN? Who is Morris, or have I horribly forgotten about this special boy?

Forgive me Debbie, sometimes I have to count my own just to remember who and how many they are, LOL.

I know it hurts to let them go to a new family, but I know that YOU know that you always give them excellent starts in life. I'm so proud of you!

Traci, and anyone interested….the run down on my cats are:

Sals (sister to Razzeratz) age 14. Got from free to good home ad. Tested pos for FIV as kittens, quarannteened andd later tested neg with western blot. Total terrors in their younger years.

Razzeratz (brother to Sals) age 14…see above

Image

Sasha, age approx 7 or 8, not very friendly with Sals and Razzeratz at first.; By the time she did warm up to them they had enough of her and she has since pretty much keeps to herself with the other cats…does like people and attention, especially being groomed. Got her while working at the vets. The old woman who owned her was not coming out of the hospital and no one in her family wanted her. I did.

Image

Gracie, one eyed monster, age 4…got her at the vets while she was recuperating her eye surgery from herpes. This was a rescue group cat. She was hell on wheels as a kitten, a real attack cat, tiny cat but actually quite mean at times. The rescue group named her Uno. Good name, but I felt it would interfere discipline…”NO!!!” so I had a hard time coming up with a new name. Then one night, while she was literally riding poor Sals like a horse I decided she needed a time out. And I plopped her on the bed I said, “Say goodnight Gracie.” And that’s how she got her name. She still is all attitude and everything of course is about her.

Morris, age 5(?) was a feral. It took some time before he would let me pet him. Once his sister, Cali-Co was found dead, presumed hit by a car I took him in. He’s a sincere cat who wishes he could go back out when the weather is nice. He’s like to be an innie/outie…but I insist he’s just an innie. Also, he’s the one that lost part of his tail and I trapped him to have it fixed up. While he spent three weeks recuping in my bathroom, his sister warmed up a bit and started letting me pet her. She’d always make like she’d want to bite just to remind me that we were not bonding, it just felt good.

Missy, age 2 was a feral. I trapped her when she was about 5 months and it took a few days before she settled in. She loves being inside and has latched onto Morris

Mr. Orange, age approx 8 or 9 was an outside cat. He always looked so stoic outside, like he used to have a better life and could and should do better. Trapped him last year and he’s been very happy inside. I believe he was an inside cat that was dumped.

You are the greatest, Debbie and thanks for sharing about all your cats. You asked me so - I have one now...my Angel, person had to get rid of her. They told me she was blind in one eye and a senior about 6 yrs. old. Soon after I got her found out she was sick, but vet & I got her back to good health. She is a wonderful cat - well behaved, affectionate and smart...love her lots!

Well, Ziggy went to his forever home on Saturday. With all those kittens between two groups only two adoptions took place...Ziggy and one from the other group. I thought I might have Ziggy for some time with all the competition, but he got what I hope will be a good home. I do miss him, and nanceen seems to be missing him as well, and since she's been ousted from the room she's been a total terror on my cats...New batch of kittens (see other post about basement cats) now occupy that room.
Kitty kisses,
Debbie
