Getting bigger than ever...and lots of fun. Mom is still too thin and stopped eating much of the kitten canned...again. She will eat the kitten dry...then shestarted banging the door to be let out...constantly...any time.... day or night.....very, very annoying. I finally figured out she was on a mission to find food more to her liking. This has been going on for the past two days and middle of last night I gave her some regular Friskies canned, again this morning and she's been quiet ever since. So far the kittens aren't escaping yet, with the exception sometimes of Ziggy da Piggy.
Thanks for asking about them, and now, for your viewing pleasure,
The Tummyknockers:

Oh my gosh, they're just precious! I love the captions!!

Just curious, has Nanceen been dewormed? If you're nearing weaning stage for the kittens, she can be safely dewormed. I'm wondering if some of her weight issues might be due to worms. Otherwise, make sure she has all the dry kitten food she wants.

You are such a great Mom!...Look at all the toys you got them. Bet they are a ball to watch with their cute antics. What are their personalities like?

Traci, she's been dewormed. I think once she stops nursing she'll fill out. Alot of times they are just thin. I remember Smokey was very thin and once she stopped nursing she started to fill out again. Nanceen is a small cat in stature to begin with. I'll just make sure she has kitten food as well as adult food to munch on.
MomPaws, they do each have different personalities already.

Ziggy (orange and white)=hedonist; eats anything he can (mom's milk, kitten food and hopefully someday, my cheese-its); likes laying on back showing off the family jewels (and he's working on quite a set to be proud of); playful; insistant.

Saffron (solid orange)=serious, thoughtful, affectionate; not daring but not cowardly either; plays well with others.

Rocky (gray striped)=affectionate; snuggler; playful; homebody; loves attention.

Wildfire (calico)=very playful (and active like a nutty squirrel); cheerful; affectionate; demanding of attention; bully; not that interested in food, but does eat well enough (must be watching her girlish figure); cute as he!! and knows it.
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

Thanks again for sharing this heartwarming sequence. So sweet, but passes so quickly... Thank goodness for cameras and the internet - I know folks in the forever homes will be glad to have these records :D
