Same old, same old. Of course the pet food company will declare its food is safe. And is there or isn't there an ongoing investigation? After the performance of the FDA with Menu and and the like, are they taking credit for being onto something whhen they're really not? And if they are, what are they really doing about it and why is it so hush hush? If they know the food is bad why not just announce it for petes sake and maybe save a few pet lives???? Bush is out of office, so maybe the coprorations won't have the carte blanche to do whatever they feel like anymore?
Something besides the dog food don't smell right about any of this.

Well, the confusion just mounts and mounts. I don't know, have sent a request to the FDA/CVM but am not holding my breath for a response.

I got a response from the CVM, but no name or credential accompanying it. They just simply said "Nutro Products, Inc. is not under investigation by the FDA."

I have requested verification from the dept, will see if they answer.
