Beautiful pictures, especially the two Ems! I've got the water bottles scattered all over here too. Luckily a simple, stern NO will often stop them in their tracks....unfortuneately they still have to be "stopped"!
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

They are beautiful...always gets me how they can get so limp. My Sals can do a good job with that, LOL! Nice tag on the limp one!!!!!

Re: slvrwhispr's furkids!
Izzy has the "bad kitty" tag and Emmy has the "good kitty" one. I threaten them daily to switch their tags. But they're cute.
Emmy has been getting the squirt bottle a LOT this morning. Little furface is getting into EVERYTHING. She just has these moments. I keep grabbing toys and she's all, "Nope! I'd much rather pull over this flower vase and then climb the lampshade." Oh, cats. Honestly, I wouldn't mind fast forwarding a year or two when she's older and calmer. I know you all say don't rush, you never get these days back. But I have never once missed Izzy's destructive kitten days.

Really, I understand how you can wish they were calmer, but it's true you don't get those days back. Sals and Razzeratz were suchh a riot, as well as a pain when they were younger. Seems they're no longer in cahoots anymore and they're not as naughty or high spirited as they were. Of course come April 30th, they'll be 14, and I really do miss their kitten days. Grace on the other hand, now that she's a bit older I enjoy more because she was quite violent as a kitten...very nasty kitten...could be sweet ande fun but she had some serious issues. She's alot better now; took some real work with her
I figure lamps and vases (and even a couch) can be replaced. But I too have the squirt bottles in various places and even use them on my hubby from time to time...maybe I should look into tags for him!

HAHAHA... yeah, I've used the squirt bottle on DH once or twice. I'd catch him teaching the cats how to get into places. Stop making it harder!! LOL. He's the reason they fight on top of the fridge now.

Re: slvrwhispr's furkids!
Well... I did something today I should have a long time ago. I bought pet insurance for both my girls! Vet costs around here make me panic every time I think one of them might have to go in, but now all I have is a $50 co-pay per office visit, for the low low price of about $25 per month. It's great peace of mind on a tight budget. So now I know for sure I can afford whatever veterinary care my girls could possibly need! They're both covered up to $15,000 per year. Cats, if you EVER cost me that much, you better get jobs!
Re: slvrwhispr's furkids!
Be sure you totally evaluate your policy, Slvr, read all the fine print. Some policies only cover basic care, others will not cover pre-existing conditions, some cover emergencies, etc. Remember also your date of acceptance and when the kiddens are actually covered, most require a waiting period, like around 14 days.

Trust me, Traci -- I spent a LOT of time researching which policies are best for us! The one I chose has a $50 deductible regardless of what treatment it is, save for routine wellness checks. It covers all prescription meds, all labs, all procedures, and all surgeries, up to $15,000 per year, per cat. I did my homework. And the effective date is tomorrow!
