That's the best place to be, ever! You should send that pic to Hubby, and of course, title it "We miss you!"!!

I've got a girlfriend here for the weekend. Both cats took to her like a magnet. The girls are thrilled because there are two sets of hands to tend to them at all times. So spoiled... :)

I love them when they're sleeping, cuddling, or doing cute things! I could live without the litterbox and the knocking stuff off tables. ;)

Yeah, but their antics are what makes them so cute, just remember all the times they got in trouble and how you can laugh about it now!

I had been using a little water pistol to get Emmy off my lampshades and off of Izzy when she was playing too rough but it didn't seem to faze her. So when I was at the store the other day, I saw in the travel/trial section, they had these cute little squirt bottles for a dollar. Grabbed one, been using that. Emmy does NOT like that. Now she hops up on the end table, takes a look at the lampshade, looks at the squirt bottle, and decides whether or not it's worth it. Sometimes the answer is still yes... But for the most part, that is MUCH more effective.
Ah yes, the B-Mod (behavior modification) bottles work best... I keep them in several places around the house and have modified extreme "pushy cat" behavior a lot. Of course wouldn't want to "dampen" their spirits too much LOL I rarely need to actually use a squirt anymore, except here at the desk when Pinto DEMANDS his brushing session whether I have time or not - like Emmy, he's a Texas cat!

More darling pics... Thanks. I did not know about the web cam thingy... what won't computer folks come up with next!

Hey Traci (or others), Emmy's started really shedding, and I've got a round-tipped wire brush that works great on most of her coat (and she loooooves it) but it doesn't get the little tiny hairs on her head. And THOSE have been sticking in my clothes and making me itch like crazy. Is there a different brush or comb that will get into the tiny hairs on her head and neck?

Anyway, here's a pic of the Ems together. My Emmy with my friend Emilie. :)

How about just wiping a dry washcloth over her head? You're the first who's ever asked about tiny hairs on the head, LOL.

Hahaha. It's strange, I've never had those tiny hairs cling to fabric like Emmy's do. But it's like with a wire-haired terrier, those little hairs wedge themselves in fabric and it feels like pokers. But they cling to clothes like velcro! Ah well. Maybe I'll try a flea comb too. She loves being groomed so she won't complain. She'll just enjoy the attention.
