Update on Velcro

Post by DeVon »

Well, I think it's safe to say he HAS gotten over his attitude with Skittle, AND he's here at my house to stay permanently

I can't believe how they lay and sleep together. :-) What kind of dog is that with the pink skin and fine, short velvety fur? They look so sweet laying there. I love that name, Velcro. Is that because he sticks to you?

Love the pic of the sleeping kitty and dog! I have a cat named Velcro too! Velcro was given because he is black, short-haired, and yes, he tends to jump up on you and stick!

Black cats seem to be so sweet. Has anybody noticed this? All the black cats I know and the one I have are all similar.

I agree, Sara, my Cassidy is the sweetest,.....she's been the 'motherly' type to all the others, even though she's one of the youngest. She's an angel (well, most of the time, ha)

Love that!! We are thinking about getting a dog and I wondered how Isabelle would tollerate that. Poor little puppy might not survive it (hee hee).

Re: Negrito, my black cat....

Post by Sara »

Negrito my black male is one of my youngest and is totally Motherly with the others. Although I rescued Negrito along with Vest and Nan they look to him like their Mother. They even nurse from him sometimes, well they just pretent but they see him as a Mother figure and he is always looking after them. When I bathe them he rushes over to lick them and help dry them. He is always concerned. He is very nurturing. I do feel cats that look alike have similar personalities. Like breeds have certain characteristics... I think each cat is like a pure breed, I don't really think there is such a thing as mixed cats like in dogs. There are only so many varieties of colors and shapes. I could match each one of my cats to a pure breed in a cat book. It's a strange theory I know but...
