Does it get any cuter than this?
I mean, seriously. I don't think I could fit more cuteness in this picture.
Re: Does it get any cuter than this?
It could, if you had a few more cats
Nah, this is too cute!!

Awwww, no! I like how the little kitty paw is folded over and the big ppl paw is also - they have matching sleeping modes.

The apartment complex has a two cat per unit limit.
Which is good, because I'd probably have several more if it didn't...

Yeeeees. There are maintenance issues all the time. Just little stuff, but they'd definitely find out. It's not worth the $1,000 fine.
Of course, if I saw another neglected cat outside... there's no telling what I might do... haha.

okay...sooo...ummm...you board one....or two....or a few.....at the vet's or a friend's house for the day

Sorry, Tambrey - don't mean to be argumentative - but the whole pet & pet rescue situation is very complex down here - at least in the heavily populated areas like Killeen (which is Fort Hood, the largest military installation in the WORLD) and Greater Austin... For example, many vets - possibly most - want at least $200 UP FRONT before they will even see the pets of prospective new clients... this actually happened to a quite well-connected couple I know here, when they moved from a different part of town into an apartment complex in a neighborhood near mine... They have 5 cats atm but I do not know how they handled that re deposits etc. They called my vet on my recommendation for just one of their cats and were told $250 would be required...
Technically only 1 pet per tenant is allowed in my complex - I told the rental manager before I signed the lease that I intended to have 2 cats... he sort of winked and didn't charge me a double deposit... He is gone now, but I am a good tenant and so far there has been no problem about it. However, as silvrwispa says, management has its little ways so I am careful not to get personally involved in the matter of ferals, strays etc.

Re: Does it get any cuter than this?
Oops - reread Tambrey's post and see she meant something else... but here again, apartment maintenance often does not have the option of giving prior notice, even if they were willing to do this... something goes wrong in a bath or kitchen or laundry alcove of one's upstairs or downstairs or next-door neighbor, and maintenance is inside your unit whether you called them or not So my point is still: adding secret cats is pretty much out of the question for most of we apartment dwellers lol...
Re: Does it get any cuter than this?
oh I know....it is too bad especially about the ONE cat limit when they are pride critters and need more than one to socialize....
