They did not take the stitches out today. They said it looks great

and all, but want to wait a few more days. They said I can take

the stitches out myself then. It won't be 2 weeks until Wednesday,

I don't know why they said 12 days in the first place. Goofed up

I guess. LOL

I am not sure I would want to take those stitches out myself

I have done stitches for my females after a simple spay that healed fine....but man...an amputation is something different!!!

Glad to hear she is doing fine otherwise

I think I will be OK. I have removed hundreds of stitches from
cats, dogs, horses and even cattle once in awhile. I have the
right tools to do it. It is 42 miles to town and she was already
stressed to go today. My vet said I could do it as good as he
can....he trusts me!! LOL

How's she doing now? I hope the stitch removal went well.

She is doing great. The stitch removal went smooth as silk. Now,

she is truly on the road to being almost whole again. Thanks for

asking.
