HELP!!!!!!! TROUBLE WITH ABBY!!!!!!!!!!
HELP!!!!!!! TROUBLE WITH ABBY!!!!!!!!!!
I just adopted a 8 week old kitten from some people in the news paper and when we got her home she wouldnt eat. She is very small and if she doesnt eat we are afraid that she will waste away. She hasnt eaten in almost THREE DAYS! She also threw up some phlem. I dont know what is wrong with her. She plays, explores, jumps and even drinks water. She looks acts and sounds healthy, but she wont eat. Weve been giving her milk trough a small syringe, but she wont eat any solids. Please does anyone have any idea what is wrong with little Abby!?
Re: HELP!!!!!!! TROUBLE WITH ABBY!!!!!!!!!!
get your cat to a vet or emergency clinic asap.
no one here can offer help fast enough or prescribe medine for you. your cat needs medical attention, go now.

Re: HELP!!!!!!! TROUBLE WITH ABBY!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with Jason take your kitten in right away. They can dehydrate and fade fast!!
As for feeding, get some KMR or Just Born formula and mix with a high quality canned kitten food like Iams or Nutro Kitten Max chicken until it is a mash for her to like up. That is what I did with my new kitten who is now almost 11 weeks old.
But take to the vet for an exam right away ok. Good luck to you.

I also hope you have already taken this kitten to the vet. Please update us because we are concerned.
Re: HELP!!!!!!! TROUBLE WITH ABBY!!!!!!!!!!
Get her to your nearest ER vet clinic IMMEDIATELY! ... Do NOT feed her cow's milk, this will only worsen the situation, will cause diarrhea and/or constipation, which could be part of the problem, but your vet needs to fully examine her and test her for serious health issues. She could have an infectious disease, have a serious bacterial infection, be unable to digest food (malabsoprtion), have a growth developmental problem, etc, all of which require IMMEDIATE veterinary attention. Do not wait, get her seen NOW.
