If you want to read Tripod's LONG thread....here it is...from the beginning....
We saw Tripod and a friend of his well over a year ago, Tripod had a broken leg...double compound fracture, THEN...but we could not get within 20-30 feet of him before he took off....winter came, we did not see him...we figured he was gone....jump ahead to the following summer and we saw him hanging around the ferals that come here to eat....he has lost weight, looked terrible, but I recognized the partially healed leg...it took us a while to gain his trust enough...but read on...

We do have him indoors....but that is just how we are...and we ARE near a highway and railroad tracks and there is no shelter as nice as that barn you describe.....

I wish you all the best....but if Tripod could pull through after HIS ordeal....I think your sisters kitty will do fine....

on the kitty's progress.
