Good to know things are working out well. Nice pictures! Isn't it funny how we "see" people we haven't actually met in our minds, then usually the reality is very different... but in this case, you look almost exactly like I pictured you Maybe our cats communicated with each other?

There's a website that I'm on a lot that has funny videos about video games. I had left the laptop open while I took a phone call. I started hearing noises behind me, so I turned around, and somehow Emmy had navigated to a different page, found a video, and started it playing! She was staring intently at the screen. It was too cute. I'd have snapped a picture if I wasn't on the phone.

Dramatic cat says, "Oh, the humanity!"

She's fast asleep, and the paw not on her face keeps twitching like she's waving. It's cracking me up. I should be asleep...

She looks like such a comfy little diva. I spruced up my daughter's room for Angel and she loves it in there. She just knows it's for her. She lounges on the bed in her cute little soft white round bed...lounges on the knitted bankie...and in the soft chair..she has so many ways to relax like your little Emmy.

Guess who learned last night that she can climb the screens? Better make sure the spray bottle's filled.

Wheee! Guess who got her nails clipped for the first time today? She was nice and calm so I decided to give it a try. She's not wild about having her paws touched, but I've been playing with them gently when she's calm to get her used to it. It took a treat every two toes and hugging her right up next to my face while I made kissy sounds, but she's got nice trimmed nails now! Nobody got bit, nobody got scratched, and now she can't climb the screen door!

You did great! I was doing it like that too...until I made a mistake and must have cut the quick... so now-now way will she let me do it again. I have a disabled left hand so it is very difficult for me...so now the vet does it...fairly reasonable and better for both Angel & me.

Emmy's claws are just about completely see-through, and she has itty bitty quicks. I can barely see the quick on a couple of her claws. But I've gotten pretty good over the years at being precise with the clippers. Izzy doesn't fight me for about the first 30 seconds, and then it's hissing and teeth. I can do her two front paws in 30 seconds. Took more time with Emmy, obviously, but she didn't put up too much of a fight, all things considered. It went much better than anticipated.

... I've been coughing a lot so I went to sit on the couch out here for a while so I didn't wake up hubby. I went to put my head on a pillow... and the pillow meowed.

Emmy is sleeping curled up completely beneath a throw pillow. I would take pictures, but all you would see is pillow.
