I will. But if the way she's STILL flying around here is any indication, I'm pretty sure she's alright. I tried to wear her out chasing the laser pointer, but there IS no wearing her out. I wish I had a kitty-sized treadmill...

You guys are having so much fun! Angel is 6 and she still zooms and loves to play, but probably a lot less than Emmy. I will be so glad for all of you when you move - sounds like it will be a safer place for you and much better room wise. Your kiddies will have a new place to explore.

Re: Indroducing Emmy! With pics.
I went out today and used the gift card that Cleo sent me (THANKS AGAIN CLEO!!). I got a nice bowl set for them. They're actually dog bowls because the two of them have been drinking SO much water lately due to the weather getting really dry. I've been feeling like a camel, I've been drinking so much water. Bleh. But the bowls are really nice!
I also got a collar and a name tag for Emmy. Oh man, she did NOT like it when I put that on. It was funny, though. She didn't shake her head or claw at it like most cats do. She tried to JUMP away from it. So she was hopping around like a Mexican jumping bean for about five minutes. She got used to it pretty quick though.
Oh, and for the record, I've got a separate bowl with kitten food where Emmy likes to hang out, so she is getting kitten nutrition. But there's just no keeping her out of the adult cat food bowl, especially since she likes to stick her head in there when Izzy's eating. Although by now she's about 7 months old and she's growing nicely, so I'm not TOO worried about it. Izzy wants nothing to do with the kitten food.

Are they drinking excessively, slvrwhispr? If so, that's not normal.

More than they were when it was crazy humid in the summer, but not so much that I'd be concerned. The air is BONE dry; I keep waking up in the middle of the night gagging because my mouth dried out. And I'm not a mouth-breather, nor do I snore. It's just hard adjusting, and I'm sure the kitties feel it too.
I've also been getting nose bleeds like crazy... change of seasons is no fun on me.
Emmy is slurping on my wrist as I type and it feels really, really weird...

Um... yes, just a little. She's such a lover. I love the little head-butts. She'll pet my cheek too. Very affectionate cat. It's nice to have a cuddle buddy all the time.

You are both beautiful ! Emmy is thanking you for rescuing her...she is so glad to have a mom like you !
