Some good news and the rain....

Post by TheSkeptic »

First, sorry for not posting to others. I have been rather busy lately and have not had time to do more than skim the boards. Best wishes to all who need them.

I will begin with a few pics of my dogs.

Here is where most spend their time when outside right now. Even the dogs don't want to walk in the yard.

The first at noon day before yesterday. The rain was supposed to end for a few days after I took this picture.

Here is a picture from the following morning. Note the patio. What is that stuff on it? HINT: It isn't dog pee.

Kaiser spends a lot of time grooming Ivory. You don't think she considers Ivory one of her pups do you?

Now for the good news. ...

I took Princess to a rescue yesterday. The picture is from when she had her Pups on May 7th. The rescue people took her pups last week, they adopted four of her pups and decided to take her too.

Later Cheryl and I delivered two beautiful Beagle girls to Beagle rescue. They are mother and daughter. The Daughter throws a fit if she can't see mama. I think she is Beagle/Lab mix. She has the beautiful golden eyes of a Chocolate lab. The mother is a few years old, the daughter about one year old.

When we left the shelter they were in the cargo area of the Jeep.

Naturally that did not last too long with these love muffins.

We soon reached the transfer point, conveniently located by a Cracker Barrel, where we ate supper after the transfer. Transfering has its perks!

Nice pics, as usual. It's really cute to see Kaiser grooming Ivory. Ivory doesn't look too happy about it though. That beagle-mix pup looks like it might have some GSP or Weimereiner (sp?) in it too.
